4 things to be discussed at Rockhampton Council today

1. Mount Archer, Kershaw plans

Rockhampton Regional Council will discuss the Mount Archer Activation and Kershaw Gardens Restoration implementation plans and priorities. They will also discuss options for Gracemere library service.

2. Rocky's Smart City strategy

Council will discuss its Smart City Regional Strategy and a Memorandum of Understanding between Rockhampton Regional Council and CQUniversity.

3. Notice of motion from councillor

Councillor Stephen Schwarten is expected to put forward a notice of motion regarding the purchase of land at Depot Hill for the proposed South Rockhampton Flood Levee. He will also put forward a question on notice in a closed session of council.

4. Council to review policies

In a full council meeting, several policies will be reviewed including the vandalism and graffiti prevention policy, the finance and waste policies and the community grants policies. Council will also consider the 2015-16 revised budget, as well as the 2015-16 amendments to fees and charges.
