8am-1pm: The Handmade Expo Markets at the Robert Schwarten Indoor Pavilion. Free entry and parking. Over 70 stalls filled with handmade, hand baked, home grown and vintage items.

9am-3.30pm: Healthy land, healthy horses workshop event at the Rockhampton Leagues Club. Free morning tea and lunch provided.

7pm: Carols by Candlelight at the Rockhampton Music Bowl, Nuttal Street, North Rockhampton. Entry by donation to this year's charity, Rockhampton Horse Riding for the Disabled. Refreshments on sale. Gates open 5pm, concert starts 7pm. Traffic conditions around Yaamba Rd will change from 5pm onwards.

9am-1pm: Archer Park Rail Museum offers section car rides to visitors to the Archer Park Rail Museum this Sunday. Come on down and enjoy morning tea and stroll around and look at the engines, carriages and rail memorabilia.

10am: Yeppoon beachfront 'JRT Carols by the Beach'.

At 3.30pm there will be the Lex Semple Memorial Santa Run Street Parade which will travel from Beaman Park down Normanby St and Anzac Parade to the Keppel Bay Sailing Club.

1.30pm-5.30pm: African Grooves drum & dance workshops at the Queen Street Community Hall, 29 Queen St, Yeppoon. Drumming workshop: 1.30-3.30pm, Dance workshop: 4-5.15pm. Cost: $35pp drum, $25pp dance or $50 both pp.
