Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has upset win over Sharapova

RUSSIA'S Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova has continued her run of upsets at the WTA event in Paris, downing countrywoman and top seed Maria Sharapova 4-6 6-3 6-4 in the semi-finals.

Pavlyuchenkova, who also beat No.7 seed Carla Suarez Navarro and No.4 seed Angelique Kerber, was due to take on Italy's Sara Errani in the final.
