Yeppoon's 'royal visitor' celebrates fine figurines

THE Celebrating Royalty Tour will come to the Capricorn Coast next week with a visit by Michael Doulton, fifth-generation descendant of the original John Doulton, founder of Royal Doulton.

Mr Doulton will visit Royal Collectables, in Normanby St, on July 25.

As brand ambassador for Royal Doulton, Mr Doulton has travelled the world for the past 30 years meeting Royal Doulton fans. He is an expert on all things Royal Doulton.

Royal Collectables' owner Michelle Harris said she was proud to announce that Mr Doulton would visit Royal Collectables, Yeppoo,n on Friday, July 25, from noon-2pm to unveil this year's new range of Royal Doulton figurines.

"Whether you've fallen in love with the timeless grace of Royal Doulton's Pretty Ladies or you're besotted with Royal Doulton's adorable Bunnykins family, you won't want to miss out on this exclusive Royal Collectables and Royal Doulton event," Ms Harris said.

"Michael will be speaking about his travels around the world, his favourite figurines and the inspiration behind Royal Doulton's latest collections.

"It's a fascinating insight into the process that goes into creating Royal Doulton figurines.

"So, if you're an avid Royal Doulton collector, this is your chance to ask Michael all your burning Royal Doulton questions."

Mr Doulton will also autograph any figurines purchased at the event.
