ENGLAND'S Ashes woes have continued with news last night that under-pressure No.3 Jonathan Trott has left the tour to fly back to England.
It was revealed that Trott will not play any further part in the series because of a long-standing stress-related condition.
Trott scored 19 runs in two innings during England's first Test defeat and struggled against the bowling of Mitchell Johnson.
He was also targeted by Australian batsman David Warner after his first innings struggles as being weak.
Trott took to Twitter to explain his actions.
"I don't think it is right that I'm playing knowing that I'm not 100%," the 32-year-old said.
"My priority now is to take a break from cricket so that I can focus on my recovery.
"I want to wish my teammates all the very best for the remainder of the tour."
England coach Andy Flower added: "He needs time away from this environment and time with his family."
