Mums know their products

WITH backgrounds in early childhood and children of their own, Katie Hornibrook and Lee Wiese know what mums want when it comes to baby products.

Which is part of the reason they decided to open their own baby specialist store, which stocks a variety of beautiful, high-quality products from well-known brands for babies to the age of three.

The good friends from Melbourne said they wanted to offer Capricorn Coast mums something unique that wasn't available before.

"When I moved up here, I found that I had to do a lot of online shopping whereas we'd been used to being able to access it in Melbourne," Katie, who is a mum of three, said.

"So we wanted to get the brands we knew and trusted and bring them here, which prompted us opening this store."

Opening Baby Loft only a fortnight ago, the Lammermoor store currently stocks brands like Daisy and Moose, Aden and Anais, Cheeky Little Soles, Mile Stones Amber - with plans to expand the range further.

After visiting on holiday, Katie and her family made the sea change four years ago. Two years later, mum-of-two Lee did the same thing.

"I find it really satisfying to be able to pick and choose quality products that are tried and true, because we've used them as well," Lee said.
