Accused teen basher to stay in custody

AN 18-YEAR-OLD woman accused of brutally bashing a Warwick teen will remain in police custody until March.

Shannon Angela Williams had her matter adjourned at Warwick Magistrates Court this morning and will face court again on March 29 via a video link.

The Toowoomba woman was allegedly involved in a "cowardly" attack on a 15-year-old girl, who was reportedly punched and kicked in the head repeatedly by Williams and another 16-year-old girl.

Williams was charged with grievous bodily harm and has been in police custody since October.

The second teenager can not be named for legal reasons.
