Adding a pinch of Salt to Beef Australia
RESPECTED demographer Bernard Salt is one of many high-profile speakers who will take a whole-of-sector look at the key challenges facing the cattle sector at the Beef Australia 2015 Industry Symposium.
The symposium, to be held on Monday, May 4, at Hegvold Stadium, is one of many key events lined up for Beef Australia 2015.
Supported by CQUniversity Australia, it will explore issues such as equity raising, food security, consumer trends, foreign ownership of Australian farms and opportunities for Australian agribusiness.
There will also be a Q&A lunchtime panel hosted by media expert Pete Lewis and featuring guest appearances from Australian Meat Industry Council chair David Larkin and CQUniversity's Vice-Chancellor Professor Scott Bowman.
Tickets are available with a registration fee of $363 per person, which includes entry to Beef Australia, lunch and post-conference cocktail function.
