Adopt-a-Cops join in school's underground cave adventure

TWO Rockhampton Adopt-a-Cops had no idea what they were in for when they turned up for their shift with Saint Peter's Primary School recently.

"I managed to bring Constable Kristen Lalley along with me and little did we know what we would actually be doing upon attending," Constable Evan Szaweiko said.

"Turns out we went adventure caving at the Capricorn Caves and were ducking, weaving, crawling, climbing in all sorts of dark underground caves.

"We both had a great time and there were lots of laughs as you could imagine. It was also nice to spend some time with the kids, and from what I could tell, they enjoyed having us there."
