All star line up for Rockhampton Morning Melodies in 2014

RHONDA Burchmore, Kamahl and Little Pattie are some of the names lined up for this year's Morning Melodies series.

Rockhampton Regional Council's popular seniors concert series Morning Melodies continues in 2014 with an all star lineup and some great entertainment.

Jackie Love, Ian Stenlake, Little Pattie, Simon Gallaher, Rhonda Burchmore and Kamahl will all perform at the Pilbeam Theatre in Morning Melodies in 2014.

Presented by Rockhampton Regional Council and Bolsover Radiology, the Morning Melodies concert series is aimed at seniors, with tickets affordably priced.

Chair of Rockhampton Regional Council's Communities Committee, Cr Rose Swadling encouraged seniors to attend the concerts.

"It's a great social event for many seniors," she said.

"Not only do you get a top quality performer but concertgoers can also catch up with friends and make new ones at the free morning tea supplied by Brumby's beforehand," she said.

The Morning Melodies concert series kicks off with Jackie Love in February.

The Pilbeam Theatre Box Office will be closed from 5pm Friday 13 December, reopening on Monday 13 January 2014 but tickets can still be bought on the internet by visiting www.seeitlive.com.au.
