A 26-YEAR-OLD who allegedly raped a teenage girl was yesterday banished from the Rockhampton region by a magistrate.

The man appeared in Rockhampton Magistrates Court charged with raping a 15-year-old girl five times between January 1 and January 31 this year.

He did not enter a plea, but made an application for bail.
