Allen dislocates elbow in Capras return

DEAN Allen's Intrust Super Cup return lasted less than 10 minutes when he dislocated his elbow in the Capras 52-6 loss to the Ipswich Jets.

The regular Norths Chargers half was injured in an innocuous tackle which was the first of many sour points for the visiting side.

Less than a week after starring for the Chargers in their upset 26-all draw with Yeppoon Seagulls, Allen made his highly anticipated return playing at halfback for the Capras.

His side were down 34-0 when Allen was taken from the field as they went on to make it thirteen straight losses at the North Ipswich Reserve.
