ALP selects Glenn Butcher

GLENN Butcher has been endorsed as the ALP candidate to contest the seat of Gladstone at the next State election, which will be held later this year.

Glenn, who turns 40 this year, was born and bred in Gladstone and believes Gladstone is a great city with a brilliant future.

Glenn, his wife Theresa and their two children live in New Auckland, and as happens in many families, he performs the balancing act of juggling his family life, shift-work and participating as an active member of many local sporting and community groups.

Glenn will challenge incumbent Liz Cunningham, who is an independent.
