Annoying, dangerous, too common: Why I'm sick of Bruce Hwy truckies!

CRASH camera footage has captured a truck driver engaging in an annoying, potentially deadly and all too common practice on the Bruce Hwy.

A truck is seen in the footage tailgating a motorist on a Sunshine Coast section of the Bruce Hwy.

The video was posted on YouTube this week, with the motorist responsible slamming the truck driver for the behaviour.

He said he was "sick of trucks tailgating on the Bruce Hwy".

"On my way home … this truck would tailgate me, then back off, then tailgate me several times.

"(He) even went over the double lines as if he was going to overtake.

"No wonder so many accidents happen on the Bruce Hwy."
