Annual parade to bring Christmas cheer to Rockhampton

IT'S time to bring put on your Christmas shirt and wear your Santa hat because the Annual Rockhampton Christmas parade begins at 5.30pm Thursday.

Cancer Council Queensland has teamed up with Stockland Rockhampton to sponsor the parade which will take place along Musgrave St.

The parade is at full capacity this year with community groups, organisations, businesses and government organisations entering Christmas themed floats.

People involved in the parade and the public are invited to Stockland when the parade finishes to welcome Santa and for a free concert.
