Broncos decision on Griffin decision stirs up league fans
THE Broncos' decision to jettison coach Anthony Griffin and bring back Wayne Bennett stirred up plenty of fans yesterday.
We asked readers whether it was the right choice.
Ron Futrill: No. If Wayne comes back, it should have been to help Griffin not to replace him. Griffin has been an awesome coach. It is just that people don't want to be under a no-name coach, which Griffin was.
Kerry Wells: Going backwards - don't they know you can't turn back time.
Joyce Forward: No surprises there. Wayne obviously wanted to come back, so it happens.
PW: Wayne Bennett can't help the Broncos. Clive Palmer is the go-to man for the Broncs.
SJB1963: Wayne will lift the Bronc's to another final.
ChocolateSpots: I fail to see how this is a backwards step, as people are saying. They regain the greatest coach in league history. Griffin had his chance, but made some strange calls on players and positions. I wish Wayne was coming to the Cowboys.
