100 reasons to kick a goal

COOWONGA State School Year 5 student Drew Delley is kicking around his success.

Drew now has 100 new footballs to his name as one of the winners in the Mitre 10 Great Soccer Ball Giveaway, run in conjunction with The Morning Bulletin.

One of just 14 students at Coowonga school, Drew has decided to share his winnings.

"I'll keep a couple for the school (one for every student) and give some to schools in other areas like Emu Park, Byfield, Keppel Sands and Nerimbera,'' Drew said.

Coowonga's four new students next year will also receive a ball.

Other winners, also each collecting 100 balls, was Bluebirds United Football Club's Brett Kelly, Bluff State School and Park Avenue State School.

The new balls will help out the 250 juniors at Bluebirds.
