Airline grounds hopes of children seeing dad

ROCKHAMPTON mother of two Anita Paterson is praying for a miracle.

Yesterday she said she was left standing with her two children, after they were turned away from their 1.45pm Jetstar flight to Brisbane for being late, despite lining up to check in.

She said her children were boarding the flight to meet up with their father in Brisbane ? he had driven from New South Wales.

Teary-eyed and frustrated the mother, on a disability pension, said she had put herself out to pay for her children to get to Brisbane.

"I just need to get them home,'' she said.

She appealed for help from the community to send her 14-year-old son and 18-year-old daughter home.

If you are able to help Ms Paterson phone 0438?125?954.

Jetstar was unavailable for comment.
