Athletes ready for assault

THE Gracemere Little Athletics Centre will make an all-out assault at next year's Queensland Little Athletics Association's State Championships.

For the first time in the centre's seven years of competition, Gracemere's entire squad has qualified for the event.

Under-15 competitors Andrew Britton, Emily Ireland and Christian Hinrichsen capped their final year in little athletics with resounding success by qualifying to compete in all events contested.

All athletes were awarded for their outstanding season at the club's presentation day.

Rising star Riley Lewis won the Jim Pearce most improved athlete prize.

Next year's State titles will be in Brisbane in March.
