Big build-up for 2005 Home Show

By JOSEPH TERNOWETSKY

THIS year's Rockhampton Home Show and Outdoor Adventure Expo has got something for everyone.

The event, from today until Sunday, will include products spanning from fixed homes to mobile homes.

More than 10,000 people are expected to walk through the Showgrounds gates.

Event organiser Bob Carroll said this expo would be better than ever.

"This event has always been popular,'' he said.

"It is the feature event for the building industry.''

There will also be plenty of entertainment for people of all ages.

Bush cooking, fishing tips and a stunt bike show are only a few of the events scheduled.

Tickets for the Rockhampton Home Show cost $6 for adults and $5 for seniors.

A three-day pass is included in the ticket price.

"You only have to pay once for the weekend,'' he said.
