Blades sharpen position

PREMIERS Buckaneers Blades have set up a top-of-the-table clash with Wanderers in the 2005 Rockhampton Netball Association Senior A division next Wednesday night.

Buckaneers cemented second place on the ladder with a hardfought 51-46 win over Runaway Diamonds at Rockhampton's Jardine Park courts on Wednesday night.

In a battle to decide second spot, both teams were on fire in the shooting circle.

Buckaneers now turn their attention to ending Wanderers' unbeaten start to the season.

In other games, Pumas Midnight beat a depleted Angels Saints outfit 44-17 while, in the local derby, Brothers Crimson defeated Brothers Magenta 46-35, who missed the services of captain Erin Currie.
