Blame Bill, he eggs them on

DIANNE Honey is shellshocked. The Bouldercombe community is egg-cited after the woman discovered a 114 gram egg (about the size of a tennis ball) was laid by one of the hens on her property.
She said it wasn't the first time one of her hens had laid an obscenely large egg.
"We've had quite a few before.
"But this is the biggest.''
When asked what the secret to egg-stra large eggs were, Ms Honey said her partner Bill Horwell had concocted his own feed recipe.
"My partner Bill does all the looking after,'' she said. "He even cooks all their food.
"It consists of cracked corn and milo mixed with pollard.'' Deputy Mayor of Fitzroy Shire Ellen Smith was on hand at the local store for the official weigh-in.
There is no listing in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest chicken egg, however Gladstone has laid claim to an 180 gram egg.
