BMXers return with 11 plates from State titles

RECORDS have tumbled for the Rockhampton BMX Club at this year's Queensland Titles in Toowoomba.

Rockhampton riders completed their best-ever finish at last weekend's event, returning home with 11 plates.

Leading the charge was Julie Richards in the 35-39 years la- dies' cruiser division.

Richards won all of her six races to become Queensland No. 1 in her age group while young gun Josh Hurt also collected a No.1 plate in the 17 years men's division.

Other riders to finish in the top three were April Seiler (8 years girls), Nathan Cook (10 years boys) and Jessica Schafer (12 years girls).
