Briannah pools her medal successes



ROCKHAMPTON'S Briannah Holloway went on a record-breaking spree at the Sporting Wheelies and Disabled Association State Swimming Championships at the Chandler pool in Brisbane on the weekend.

Holloway was named the Pam Nugent Female Swimmer of the Meet after breaking one national record and three games records.

The Gary Knight-trained swimmer set a new national record in the 400m freestyle and games records in her 200m freestyle, 100m breaststroke and 200m individual medley.

Holloway also contested the 100m backstroke.

Gladstone's Xavier Player broke the games record in his 50m backstroke event while newcomer, Emerald's Sophie Singer, also set a new games record in the 25m freestyle.
