Caribeae heating up pool

CENTRAL Queensland swimmers are running hot.

More than 200 competitors joined the medal winners at the Yeppoon Sharks 2005 Keppel Bay Swim Meet at Cooee Bay pool last weekend.

Rockhampton's Caribeae club were crowned overall champions after winning both the individual girls' and boys' titles. Leading the medal hunt were Zachary Shanks and Annie Be- lonogoff.

Shanks bagged eight gold medals to finish the meet as 10 years boys' age champion and Belonogoff took home six gold, one silver and one bronze on her way to the 13 years girls' age champion honours.
