Connolly bites back

BULLDOGS A-grade men's match-winner Justin Connolly put the bite back into his team's Rockhampton Senior Touch Association campaign.

Connolly scored four touchdowns in the Bulldogs' 8-1 victory over Bulldogs B-grade in Wednesday night's final round at Cyril Connell fields.

Young gun Mitchel Smith also bagged a double in the big win, which booked a major semi-final clash with minor premiers Buckaneers One next Wednesday night.

The defending champions finished the regular season with a 4-all draw against Buckaneers Two.

Turkeys surrendered a toptwo spot in the A-grade ladies premiership race after a 4-1 loss to Buckaneers One.

Buckaneers One will now meet Bulldogs in the major semi-final after the minor premiers thrashed Buckaneers Two 10-1. Semi-finals start on Monday night, mixed and masters.

All Nighters take on Bull Ants while Assassins meet Scorpions in the A-grade masters and mixed major semi-finals respectively.

The grand finals are on Monday, December 5, for mixed and masters, and Wednesday, December 7, for men's and ladies.
