CQ players among he winners in NZ

CENTRAL Queensland touch players have joined the winning Australian teams at the All Nations Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Rockhampton's Gavin Shuker captained the Australian open men's team to an 8-4 win over New Zealand in the final on Saturday.

Emerald's Matt Barclay was also victorious when his Australian team produced a dominant 12-2 victory against Samoa in their final.

Tammy House, of Rockhampton, joined the Australian 35 women's team's 6-3 win over Oceania.

Former Rockhampton player Justin Mitchell, now in Brisbane, was not so lucky joining the Australian open mixed team's 9-5 loss to New Zealand in the final.
