CENTRAL Queensland Dis- trict Ladies Bowls Associa- tion president Lorraine Reis is also leading the way on the lawn bowls greens.

Reis skipped the winning Central Queensland team of Lyn Wall, Joyce Walters and Mary Riemann which cap- tured the annual Dawson Riv- er Shield in Baralaba last Monday.

They won the shield after earlier round victories over Rockhampton and the Mount Morgan team from the Dee club.

Other clubs represented on the day were Biloela, Moura, Baralaba, Welfare (Mount Morgan), Gracemere, Diggers Memorial, Victoria Park, North Rockhampton and Yep- poon lawn bowls clubs.

Each team played two rounds of 18 ends in the one- day event.
