Cressy Tennis Club marks its 60th year

THE Cressy Tennis Club is swinging into another milestone on the tennis court.

The Rockhampton club will celebrate its 60th year during 2006.

Club president Tim Griffin is encouraging players ? past and present ? to get active in celebrating this special achievement.

The club is planning a reunion dinner in Rockhampton on September 30, with more than 100 members expected to make the trip from throughout Queensland.

Cressy tennis players will join the Rockhampton Tennis Club's Australia Day competition next Thursday before they return to the court when the autumn tennis fixtures hit Victoria Park on February 4.
