Cubby house win just what the Whites needed

ROCKHAMPTON woman Judith White has not had cause for celebration lately.

But she was over the moon to discover she had won one of two cubby houses in the The Morning Bulletin and Carey's Timber and Landscape Supplies "Win a Cubby'' competition.

Mrs White's husband, Reg, has been treated for skin cancer, while she has been ill herself.

"It's just so wonderful we can't explain.''

Mrs White thanked Carey's Timber and Landscape Supplies for the Mark II Cubby House, and said it would be put to good use by her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Yeppoon resident Elizabeth Gray was just as happy when told she had won the second cubby house.

"It's my son's birthday not this weekend but next weekend, so it will be good.''

She said her son, three-year-old Kye, was looking forward to sharing the cubby house with his new born sister, Charli, who is still in hospital after being born prematurely on January 8.
