DNA results ?not for several weeks

RESULTS of a DNA test to determine the identity of remains found at Mt Etna National Park on Sunday would not be available for several weeks, Regional Crime Co-ordinator Inspector Mick Niland said yesterday.

Inspector Niland said police were questioning a suspect, in custody, about the remains.

He said police carried out three searches over the weekend but found nothing.

However, he said police had received vital information from members of the public.

He appealed for anyone with information on the remains or the disappearence of Nicole Lieske to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
