Dustin on top for CQ victory

BOYNE Island Tannum Sands (BITS) golfer Dustin Greenbury has topped the field in the race for the Central Queensland Junior Golfer of the Year title.

The six-hole junior competitor won this year's overall male gross title on 44 points at last weekend's final round in Calliope.

Yeppoon's Katie Buttery was the top female scorer on 50 points.

Buttery also took out the 18hole female gross title, with Emu Park's Brett Walker winning the 18-hole male gross event.

Rockhampton's Joel Hagen and BITS' Lily McKelvie were crowned the nine-hole male and female gross champions respectively.

The six-hole male gross event went to BITS' Bailey Huth and the female award was presented to Georgia McManus.

In the nett divisions, Gracemere's Shaun Reddy won the 18hole male title while Calliope's Lisa Maree Evans won the female prize.

Jack Stewart claimed the ninehole nett, with Erica Hooley, of Calliope, the female winner.

Huth also took out the six-hole male nett and Yeppoon's Keirra King won the female event.
