Fire family praises helpers

By DARRYN NUFER

THE Central Queensland community has rallied be- hind a Duaringa couple who lost almost everything when their home burned to the ground last weekend.

Tim Teale, 36, and Leah Brown, 21, along with four- week-old daughter Chantelle had been returning home from visiting family in Ade- laide when tragedy struck.

Yesterday donations flooded in after The Morning Bulletin helped launch an appeal.

Mr Teale's mother, Chris, said the couple had been sing- ing, dancing and smiling yes- terday.

It was a complete contrast to the sombre mood earlier this week.
