Footy tips score printer

THE Hall State School students got more than a great year of footy out of this year's National Rugby League competition.

They scored a $2000 colour printer by winning a tipping competition.

Rockhampton Business Machines ran the Central Queensland contest, offering the OKI colour printer as the prize.

Year 7 teacher Ian Voss was the champion tipster.

He said Kathy Waraker started the season off, but when she went on leave he stepped up to the plate.

"It was a bit of fun,'' he said.
