Future achievers of hockey rink nurtured



? ROCKHAMPTON'S Sariah Crane and Mitch Pailthorpe are rolling into a future in inline hockey.

Crane and Pailthorpe were just two young fans who graduated from this month's Mighty Pucks program at the Central Queensland Community Sports Centre.

Offered to children aged between six and 12 years, of the 28 children who put on the skates, 24 graduated from the six-week program ? made available through a Department of Sport and Recreation Queensland club development program grant.

Skate Australia Inline Hockey development officer and international coach Gordon Young attended.
