Gawain?s good luck leaves him reeling

GAWAIN Boyland has never won anything before.

The North Rockhampton motor mechanic's luck changed this week when he became the lucky last person to win in The Morning Bulletin's $10,000 fishing package giveaway.

It was a timely win as well.

Mr Boyland will be heading to Fraser Island for a spot of fishing with his two sons.

Yesterday, Mr Boyland picked up his $300 voucher for fishing equipment from Bluefin Sports.

"I'll probably buy my young blokes fishing reels and one for me and some lures,'' he said.

Entries for the major prize close at 5pm on Friday, September 9.

The winning entry will be drawn at 9am on Monday, September 12.
