Getting down and dirty gets results

BILOELA'S Harley Quinlan is up there among Australia's best dirt bike riders.

Quinlan collected two third placings in the 125cc and 100cc events at last weekend's Australian Long Track Championships in Townsville.

Rockhampton's Antcliff siblings were also in action with Shaun also nailing a third placing on his Honda XR80 in the 11 to under-16 years division while also placing fifth and ninth in his respective 85cc and 100cc (13-under-16 years) divisions.

Younger sister Tamika scored a 10th placing in her 65cc (7-under-9) event riding a Kawasaki.

The third member of the Antcliff family, Josh, was unable to compete after breaking five bones in his arm during the final round of the North Queensland Championships in Townsville during May.

Vying for a top five finish in the three-round series, Josh was running second in his last race of the 85cc division when he came off his bike with the finish line only about 50m away.

At the NQ titles Shaun finished second in his 65cc (10under-13) division with Tamika finishing third in her 65cc (7-under-9) division.
