FOR the fourth consecutive year, the Vibe 3on3 basketball challenge has returned to Rockhampton for an- other exhilarating weekend of basketball action.

Held at the Central Queensland University, 80 teams joined this year's action with players arriving from Gladstone, Woorabinda, Yeppoon, Gracemere, Blackwater and Rockhampton.

Event organiser Claude Williams said the 3on3 brought Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and non-indigenous communities together to promote sportsmanship and healthy lifestyle, build sporting skills and selfesteem.

"We set another new record for participation for the second year running. The kids were really friendly and enthusiastic and everyone really enjoyed themselves.''

The winners: And None (U10 boys), The Pimps (U12 boys), And One (U14 boys), OPs (U16 boys), Swish (U18 boys), Murri Bullets (U10 girls), The Walkers (U12 girls), Black Chix (U14 girls), Black Wahine (U16 girls), Motos (U18 girls).
