Gracemere?s Kuhn keen for Golden Gloves title

BOXER Brodie Kuhn is hoping to add a Queensland Golden Gloves title to his name at the Baker's Creek Hotel near Mackay this weekend.

Kuhn will step into the ring vying for the under-15 51kg title belt with a Queensland State ti- tle from last year next to his name.

It is a confusing mix for Kuhn who always gives 100%.

Kuhn lives in Gracemere, he trains with Des Upton in Rock- hampton and he will represent the Blackwater PCYC Boxing Club in Mackay.

The club's other representa- tives are Blackwater-based box- ers Justin Serio, in the under-15 light welterweight, and Scott Galloway, in the open heavy- weight division.

This is Galloway's first Gold- en Gloves appearance, but de- fending Golden Gloves champi- on Serio already has about 50 fights against his name.
