Great send-off

UNIVERSITY'S A-grade rugby union team gave their coach, Brent Ste- phens, the perfect send-off at Rugby Park on Sat- urday.

The Rockhampton and District Rugby Union (RDRU) A-grade competi- tion leaders produced a 50- 23 result after the Breth- ren only trailed by six points midway through the second half.

Another bragging right for the winners went to that team's forwards who scored five of their team's eight tries.

It was a promising re- sumption from a break for University who have lost Rupert Collins, Stuart Smith and Dion Stevenson to overseas ventures.

University was also without Arno Coetzee while Brothers were miss- ing Jessie Taylor and Lee Anderson ? all in Bris- bane on an under-19 tran- sition program training camp.

The Brothers forward pack was boosted with the return of Adrian Price to A-grade duties.
