Groups bullish about rodeo chances

? THE battle lines are drawn be- tween two of Queensland's rodeo associations.

They are ready to go head-to- head in the Bulls and Barrels event at the Bouldercombe Royal Hotal on Saturday, November 19.

Members of the CRCA (Central Rodeo Cowboys Association) and QRA (Queensland Rodeo Associa- tion) have already nominated for the event which includes open, rookie and junior bull rides, open and junior barrel racing and the crowd-pleasing poddy rides.

Among the CRCA nominees is this year's all-round cowboy Stu- art Frame, of Rockhampton, while the QRA competitors in- clude Bundaberg's Michael Cross, who will feature in that association's finals in Wandoan this weekend.

Cross is leading the open bull ride. The Bouldercombe event starts at 6pm. The gates open at 4pm.
