Gulls face testing month

THE YEPPOON Seagulls face a testing challenge to their finals hopes when they host CQ Extended League leaders CQU Norths at Webb Oval tomorrow.

The sixth-placed Seagulls are preparing to enter a tough month of football that could make or break their 2005 season.

Yeppoon tackle competition heavyweights the Chargers and Rockhampton Brothers at home, before meeting fellow top-five hopefuls Biloela and FitzroyGracemere.

The Seagulls bounced back to form with a strong 42-26 win over Valleys last weekend.

However, Yeppoon's line-up will depend on the outcome of tonight's CQ Capras selection trial, with six Seagulls in action.

Round 11 ? (Today) Biloela v Valleys (Biloela,), (Tomorrow) Tannum Sands v Wallabys (Tannum Sands), Yeppoon v CQU Norths (Webb Oval), Rockhampton Brothers v Fitzroy-Gracemere (Victoria Park), Gladstone Brothers bye. Points ? CQU Norths 17, Gladstone Brothers 15, Rockhampton Brothers 12, Wallabys 12, Biloela 8, Yeppoon 8, Fitzroy-Gracemere 6, Tannum Sands 2, Valleys 0.
