? DRAWN games were the order of the day at the Catholic Schools' Challenge Cup at Yeppoon's St Brendan's College on Saturday.

Tournament hosts Sacred Heart were crowned overall Challenge Cup champions in the inaugural primary schools rugby league and netball.

The Yeppoon school won the netball Challenge Cup on a countback after a 16-all draw with St Anthony's.

However, the Rockhampton school took out the rugby league Challenge Cup also on a countback after their final against Sacred Heart ended in an 8-all draw.

In the netball Shield, Sacred Heart Two won while Bundaberg's St Patrick's won the rugby league Shield.

St Francis Xavier's rugby league team, Mackay, won the Graham Monaghan Spirit Award.

Other winners from the threeday carnival were St Patrick's Bundaberg (netball Plate), St Mary's/St Joseph's Mackay (rugby league Plate) and St Mary's Bundaberg (netball Bowl).

The carnival attracted more than 400 students.
