If you're in the mood for love

IF YOU'RE in the mood for love, Chinese cuisine and a good movie, catch the next Rocky Flix screening on Sun-day.

Chinese movie Fa yeung nin wa (In the Mood for Love) will be screened at the Walter Reid Cultural Centre at 10.30am on Sunday.

Written and directed by edgy director Kar Wai Wong, this film is set in Hong Kong in 1962.

Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung, who also paired up in Hero, play Mr Chow and Mrs Chan.

They are neighbours in a crowded Hong Kong apartment block who discover their spouses' extra-marital activities.

In this clever film, Wong stacked the film with sounds and sights from his childhood in the Shanghai community in Hong Kong. The PG film will run for 98 minutes and yum cha will be available.

Numbers are limited and bookings are recommended.

Rocky Flix will meet again next month to screen French flick Exils on June 9 from 6.30pm.
