In the race for glory in triathlon



A STRONG field is assemblying for race five in the Sportsco/ Tuckers Cycle Inn series at Rydges Capricorn Resort tomorrow morning.

In the women's race Gladstone's Pru Oswin and Rockhampton's Haylee Ford are the frontrunners with Oswin hard in training for Ironman Australia.

Rockhampton's Brian McLeod continues to set an impressive pace in the men's event, but can expect some tough competition from Moura's Shane Vivian.

Australian age team representative Wayne Clifford also makes his return this weekend.

Gladstone's Mike Dunstan, also an Australian age representative, is another starter along with Gladstone improver Matthew Strike.

Racing starts at 7am.
