Jake races to success

BLACKWATER'S Jake Gook wants to finish the 2005 motocross season on a high at the Central Queensland number one plate titles in Clermont on October 28 and 29.

Gook will arrive fresh from winning the number three plate in the 65cc (11-13 years) division at the Australian Junior Motocross Championships at Coolum from September 28 to October 2.

Racing in a field of 40 riders the 11-year-old, riding a KTM 65, recorded a third placing in the first round, before crashing in the second round to eventually finish sixth and he won the final round.

This latest success followed winning Central Queensland titles in the 85cc and 65cc divisions and placing third for the Queensland 65cc title.
