Jeffrey and Murphy unleash their goals

? MOVE over Jonathan Brown, the BITS Saints have unearthed two goalkicking machines in Joel Jeffrey and Tyson Murphy.

The Saints under-15 sharp-shooters will enter the AFL Capricornia Easter break fresh from guiding their side to a hard-fought 9-11-65 to 4-2-26 win over the Glenmore Bulls at Rockhampton's Stenlake Park last weekend.

After a five-goal haul in the opening round, both players continued their assault with Jeffrey booting four goals and Murphy scoring three majors in wet conditions.

A dominant five goal to one first quarter also proved the difference for the Saints as the Bulls matched the visitors after quarter time.

The Saints also won the under-17 contest 11-8-74 to 1-2-8 while the home side were victorious in the under-13 clash, 11-10-76 to 0-2-2.

At Yeppoon's Swan Park, the Swans were convincing winners in all three grades over Panthers and in Gladstone, Brothers recorded two wins and a loss against the Muddies.

There are no games this weekend with fixtures resuming on April 22.
