Just a touch away from the nationals

CENTRAL Queensland touch football players are entering the next stretch of the Queensland selection process.

Players in the men's 35 and 30 squads are off to the Sunshine Coast this weekend for Queensland Country Rustlers training before the National Touch League in Coffs Harbour in March.

Joining the 30's squad are Rockhampton's Damien O'Shae, Matt Pacey, Charlie Beresford and Blackwater's Cameron Upton and Matt Barclay.

The 35's include Rockhampton's John Fitzgerald and Simon Barclay along with Gladstone's Darren Kusskopf.

Pacey's included in the Queensland 30 men's squad, Barclay in both the 30 and 35 men's squads while Fitzgerald is out to cement his spot in the men's 40 team.
