Korte splashes into the books

THE Gladstone Swimming Club topped the points table in a highly competitive Biloela swim meeting last Saturday.

Gladstone won the title from host club Biloela and the Rocky City club finished third from 10 clubs.

With only two weeks remaining before the state titles in Brisbane, Biloela's Shea Korte excelled in familiar surroundings breaking five of the 13 pool records that fell on the day.

Korte also won the men's dash for cash and was the 15 years and over boys champion.

Western Suburbs flyer Sarah Lowe, of Gladstone, won the women's dash for cash ahead of Gladstone's Antoinette Hayes and Western Suburb's Clementine Lodder.
