Mount Morgan dressed to win

MOUNT Morgan are ready to shed their title as perennial bridesmaids when the Rockhampton and District Rugby Union (RDRU) sub districts semi-finals start this weekend.

Mount Morgan take on minor premiers Gladstone in tomorrow's major semi-final at Rugby Park.

After tasting premiership success in 2000, Mount Morgan have suffered four straight grand final losses.

Mount Morgan forward Dave Wyvill said his side were keen to go one better this season.

"Preparations haven't been too bad this time around,'' Wyvill said.

In their three previous encounters this season, Gladstone have won two and Mount Morgan one.

Defending champions Capricorn Coast face a do-or-die semi-final assignment against Biloela today.
